About our mosses and floating plants

Moss gives shrimp and fry somewhere to graze and hide, and floating plants shade the tank and soak up extra nutrients. Cameroon Moss is a tough, easy moss that grows nicely when tied to wood or rock. Red Root Floater turns reddish with stronger light, and Pennywort Variegated can float or be planted. Some moss listings are marked as having hair algae, so read the name before you order. We label that on purpose so you know what's in the bag. Check each listing for what's included.
