Echinodorus sp. 'Altlandsberg' is a prized hybrid with bright green leaves 'dusted' with deep red and pink spotting and marbling, featuring prominent red veins. Can reach 24 inches. Hybridized by German breeder Tomas Kaliebe.

Care Requirements
Simple like other swords. Benefits from CO2 but not required. Thrives in moderate to high lighting. Requires nutrient-rich substrate. Large leaves can shade other plants.

Placement & Planting
Background or centerpiece in larger aquariums. Striking coloration makes it a focal point. Needs space. Can produce surface leaves and flowers.

Pests & Algae

I do have snails in my tank.I do my best to pick off what I see. Duckweed have invaded a few tanks but most plants will be free of duckweed. Older leaves may have a bit of algae but I typically clean up all plants before shipping.
