Anubias Hastifolia
Anubias Hastifolia is among the largest and most distinctive Anubias, featuring unique arrowhead or spear-shaped leaves on long stems. This African native creates an elegant, architectural presence with leaves reaching 10 inches and total height exceeding 16 inches. A true showstopper for larger aquascapes.
Care Requirements
Extremely hardy and undemanding like all Anubias. Thrives in low to moderate lighting without CO2. Prefers stable water conditions. The thick, sturdy leaves resist most herbivorous fish, though some wood-eating plecos may occasionally nibble.
Placement & Planting
Best in midground to background of larger aquariums (30+ gallons). Long stems create beautiful vertical interest on tall driftwood or in corners. Attach to hardscape - never bury the rhizome.
