No reviews

Bacopa Colorata is an attractive aquatic plant popular in freshwater aquariums. It is a variation of Bacopa caroliniana, known for its striking coloration, which ranges from green to shades of pink and purple, especially under high light and CO₂ supplementation. This stem plant has small, oval-shaped leaves that grow in pairs along its sturdy stems, creating a lush, bushy appearance.

Bacopa Colorata is relatively easy to care for, making it a great choice for both beginners and experienced aquarists. It thrives in a variety of water conditions but shows its best colors when provided with nutrient-rich substrate, good lighting, and additional fertilizers. Due to its steady, upright growth, it is commonly used as a background or midground plant in aquascaping.

Additionally, Bacopa Colorata can be propagated through stem cuttings, making it easy to maintain and spread throughout an aquarium. Its vibrant hues and adaptability make it a popular choice for adding contrast and visual interest to planted tanks.

    Pests & Algae

I do have snails in my tank.I do my best to pick off what I see. Duckweed have invaded a few tanks but most plants will be free of duckweed. Older leaves may have a bit of algae but I typically clean up all plants before shipping.
