Bucephalandra sp. Giant Velvet

Bucephalandra Giant Velvet

No reviews

Bucephalandra Giant Velvet is a breathtaking variety from Borneo's tropical streams, prized for its luxurious velvety-textured leaves in deep, rich green. This larger variety reaches 8 inches, making it an eye-catching centerpiece. The distinctive velvety texture catches light beautifully and develops subtle iridescent qualities.

Care Requirements

Despite exotic appearance, remarkably adaptable and beginner-friendly. Thrives in low to moderate lighting without CO2, though both enhance growth and coloration. Prefers stable, mature tank conditions with good water flow.

Placement & Planting

Attach to hardscape - never bury rhizome. Use super glue or thread on rocks or driftwood. Larger size suits midground focal points. Looks spectacular tucked into hardscape crevices.
