Bucephalandra Light Green

No reviews

Bucephalandra Light Green is a variant of the Bucephalandra genus, which consists of aquatic plants native to the rivers of Borneo. This particular variety is characterized by its light green leaves, which can exhibit a range of shapes and textures, including wavy edges and a glossy sheen that enhances its aesthetic appeal in aquariums.

Bucephalandra Light Green typically features elongated, narrow leaves that can grow up to 6 cm long and 1-2 cm wide. The leaves may have a soft texture and can appear slightly translucent, especially under good lighting conditions. Some plants may display tiny white dots on their leaves, adding to their unique look

Unlike virtually every online store all of my Buce Light Green is grown submerged (unless noted). This makes the transition to your tank easier. This particular variant has been growing submerged in my tank since 2020.

I originally bought these emersed and have been careful in keeping each variant in it's own tank. I am not an expert at distinguishing variants of buce as a lot are very similar but I can guarantee that at least I'm passing along what was sold to me with the correct name.

Pests & Algae

I do have snails in my tank.I do my best to pick off what I see. Duckweed have invaded a few tanks but most plants will be free of duckweed. Older leaves may have a bit of algae but I typically clean up all plants before shipping.
