Bucephalandra Silver Eagle lives up to its name with glossy, bright green leaves featuring distinctive silvery shimmer. Colors range from dark blue to green with white, yellow, or red tinges and characteristic iridescent spots that catch light beautifully.

Care Requirements

Easy-going like all Buce. Thrives in low to moderate lighting without CO2. Clean water with good flow is essential. Some hardness (GH 5+) beneficial. Avoid uncycled tanks.

Placement & Planting

Attach to hardscape using super glue or thread. Spectacular grown over rocks or in driftwood crevices. Versatile for foreground or midground.

Parameters

Stable conditions, CO2, comprehensive fertilization (especially iron), and moderate lighting. Colors intensify as plant matures

Pests & Algae

I do have snails in my tank.I do my best to pick off what I see. Duckweed have invaded a few tanks but most plants will be free of duckweed. Older leaves may have a bit of algae but I typically clean up all plants before shipping.
