Bacopa Myriophylloides
Bacopa Myriophylloides is a delicate, fine-leaved stem plant with soft, needle-like foliage arranged in whorls around each stem, giving it a feathery, almost pine-like texture. It brings a light, airy contrast to a planted tank and looks especially good grouped in the midground or lower background. This bacopa appreciates good light and grows more compact and full with CO2, though it will grow more slowly without it. Plant the stems in the substrate and trim the tops to encourage branching and a denser shape. Because of its fine leaves it is a little more demanding than common Bacopa, rewarding patient aquascapers with a soft, textured accent unlike anything else in the tank.
