Rare & Beautiful Freshwater Shrimp – Perfect for Planted Tanks

Bring a pop of unique beauty to your aquarium with the Snow Zebra Sulawesi Shrimp. Known for their striking white and black striping, these freshwater shrimp are a rare gem in the hobby — a must-have for shrimp lovers and aquascapers alike.

The snow zebra shrimp, scientifically known as Caridina babaulti, is native to the Sulawesi island in Indonesia.  It is a dwarf shrimp species that typically grows to around 4cm in length.

Still very rare in the United States, this shrimp is now primarily bred in captivity, particularly in Taiwan, where they are raised in Neocaridina ponds.
